Have you ever gotten stuck on the question, "What am I supposed to do with my life?" You look around and everyone else seems to have it figured out, and you're left thinking, okay God, what about me?
Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago" (Ephesians 2:10, NLT). Before you knew what you wanted to do with your life, God knew you. Before you had any idea what you were good at, he knew exactly what your talents would be and how he wanted to use them. Your purpose was never yours to invent. God already prepared good things for you to walk into.
It's easy to make this more complicated than it needs to be, treating purpose like one enormous calling you have to decode. Today, start with a smaller question: "God, what's one good thing you've prepared for me to do today?" Because your purpose isn’t just one big, grand scheme for your life. It’s also the small ways God works in and through you each day.
Reflect: What's one good thing God might have already prepared for you to do today—and will you do it the moment you notice it?
