Day 10 | Unknown Outcomes

Read:

  •  Ecclesiastes 11

Can I trust God even when I don’t understand what he’s doing?

Life doesn’t come with guarantees. We don’t know how every decision will turn out, and we can’t control what lies ahead. But instead of pulling back in fear, Solomon calls us to live fully anyway. To trust God with what we can’t see.

No matter what we face, God is steady. He does not change (Malachi 3:6). He is the source of life and isn’t dependent on anything outside of himself (John 5:26). His goodness, peace, and mercy never end (Ephesians 3:20 and Lamentations 3:23). He is more powerful than we could ever understand (Jeremiah 32:27).

God knows everything—your entire life, every temptation you’ve faced, every joy, every struggle, and every unknown. God has seen it all (Isaiah 46:9-10). More than that, he’ll stay with you through it all (Isaiah 41:10).

Life is filled with questions, doubts, and changes. But God will never change. And because of that, we can face each day with confidence.

Pray: God, thank you for being steady and trustworthy in a world that is anything but. Help me to lean on your strength when I’m scared or uncertain. I want to trust you with all the days ahead. Amen.
