Read:

Every person you serve alongside has something in them that hasn't been fully used yet. Something God put there—on purpose, before they were born—for a reason that goes beyond what any of us can fully see. The question isn't whether the gift exists. The question is whether anyone has called it out yet.

That's what this value is about. Not filling slots on a team, but developing people. There's a difference. Filling a slot asks: what do I need? Developing people asks: what's in them, and where will they thrive? One builds a roster. The other builds a community of people who are growing into who God made them to be.

It's shoulder-to-shoulder leadership. You don't just hand someone a task and walk away. You give them real responsibility, real tools, real trust—and then you stay close. You work alongside them. You call out what you see. You make room for them to grow. Because the goal isn't to build your team, but to build people.

Reflect: Think about someone in your life whose gifts or strengths you can clearly see. Have you ever told them? What might it mean for them if you did—and what might it open up if you invited them to use those gifts in a specific way?
