Christ’s Return
The message of this chapter is that we need to be ready for Jesus’ return at any time. It has taken much longer than Jesus’ original followers expected, but like the women with the oil, we still need to be ready. We want to be working hard, obeying God, and using what He has given us.
We don’t need to walk around all day afraid to relax, but if you are spending your life making excuses for doing nothing for God, imagine Jesus returning today.
