Day 6 | Anchor Yourself in Hope

Read:

Big Idea: God’s promises are your anchor.

Storms in life are inevitable. We’re going to face them at some point or another. But Hebrews 6 gives us a picture of hope—not as a wishful thought, but as an anchor. Anchors don’t stop the storm, but they keep you from drifting when the waves hit.

God doesn’t lie. His promises are secure. Even when we feel unstable, we can trust that Jesus holds us steady. That doesn’t mean we won’t feel shaken—it means we won’t be lost. When everything feels uncertain, his promise remains.

Reflect & Respond:

  • What promises of God do you need to cling to today?
  • Write one of God’s promises on a sticky note and put it somewhere visible.

Pray: Jesus, be my anchor. When life feels shaky, remind me that your promises are sure and steady. I trust you. Amen.
