Day 3 Verse: Daniel 6
Have you ever been placed in a position where you were asked to do something you know you shouldn’t? This was Daniel’s predicament. Daniel followed his God wholeheartedly and spent time with God in prayer three times a day. A law was passed where no one was allowed to pray to anyone other than the king for 30 days. Daniel had to make a bold decision - who was he going to give control to? God or the King?
Giving up control to God doesn’t always mean the process goes smoothly. Sometimes we still face hard times. Sometimes we pray for one thing, but later realize God’s plan for us looked different than we expected. How are you wanting God to show up in your life right now? Tell him about it. It’s okay to share our frustrations with him, or express what’s holding you back from giving up control. Remember, some of the greatest things in life aren’t easy, but they’re worth it.
